Ruth Truth 14: Follow

"8 So Boaz said to Ruth, ‘My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me. 9 Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the women. I have told the men not to lay a hand on you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.’ Ruth 2:8-9

Verb #5: FOLLOW

I am NOT the smartest or greatest investor on earth. Not even close! But I have found that I don't need to be.

What I TRY to do though, is seek out the people I think are smarter or better investors than me and I try to follow them. I read their biographies, books, what they say on social media etc. More importantly, I try and figure out HOW THEY THINK.

I recently came across a very good investor and I proceeded to print all his investment letters over the last 10 years to figure out his thought process. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. If someone is good at doing something that you want to learn, just follow them!

Of course, this being my Son-day musing, WHO best to follow other than Jesus?
