Ruth Truth 7: Look for great leaders

"...she happened to come to the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, .... Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, “May the Lord be with you.” And they said to him, “May the Lord bless you.” Ruth 2:3-4

Remember, we are looking into Boaz. What might be the "secret" of his success? Last week we learned how he is a generous and gracious man who obeys the command to look out for the poor and needy among us.
 

Today, notice the first thing out of Boaz's mouth when he sees his workers. He blesses them! What a boss! He must be a really loved and respected man as they shoot back with blessings immediately.
 

Just imagine for a minute. It's a hot day, the men are hard at work, perspiring, bent over picking grain. Boaz comes along, and calls out to them cheerfully. They stop what they are doing, and greet him heartily. He must be doing something right and treating them well to get such a reaction!
 

As a leader, Boaz is an excellent role model.
 

As an investor, look for management that displays such qualities. Great companies are usually run by great men (or women).
