Ruth Truth 8: The power of blessing

"...she happened to come to the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, .... Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, “May the Lord be with you.” And they said to him, “May the Lord bless you.” Ruth 2:3-4

Ok, last one from this same verse. Promise!

Notice that Boaz and his men are BLESSING each other. I shared during an interview with Heather (the recording is some where in the FB group) how I went to a restaurant in Auckland and it was empty during peak dinner time. Obviously many hospitality players are suffering because of covid.

Maybe seeing that I was the only customer, the owner seemed to give me extra food. Anyway, I really felt for this restaurant and whilst eating, decided to pray for the restaurant and bless them. Within 5 min, 4 different dinner groups walked in!

Coincidental? Maybe. But I choose to believe that we carry God's favour and presence where we go. Why not take the opportunity to bless someone? There is power in blessing!
